Stall & Camping
All shows are held at the Midland County Fair Grounds, located at 6905 Eastman Avenue in Midland, Michigan 48642. Midland Fair Grounds has over 400 campsites as well as modern bathhouses, electrical hookups, and shared water sources throughout the campground. Most sites have 30 amp electrical services. Some sites are pulled through, while others require backing the trailer into the campsite. A sanitation station is available at the main gate for a fee of $10.00 (drop-box located at the station) during the timeframe of April through October.

Weekend prizes per class and division are given out to the rider with the highest overall score. Below is a list of classes sponsored for the 2024 show season.
Larry’s Loading Extravaganza
50% PAYBACK $15 per team member & ONE $55 Cattle Fee per team. OPEN TO ALL EXHIBITORS. FIRST PLACE TEAM will each RECEIVE $50 GIFT CARDS to Milbrook Tack. All exhibitors who enter will receive a $10 gift card to Millbrook Tack.
Rules for FQHR cattle trailer loading class
1. Time limit is two minutes. 2. All cattle must be numbered. 3. Three cattle with sequential numbers must be loaded. 4. Teams shall be made up of three riders. 5. The change of one team member shall constitute a new team. 6. Two non team members may be used as herd holders, however, they must leave the arena as soon as all three cattle are cut from the herd and cross the time line. (If a holder causes interference with a team, it could lead to the disqualification of the holder’s team.) 7. A five second penalty shall be added for each non-designated cow that crosses the time line. Any trash cattle that get loaded will result in a disqualification. 8. The trailer shall be placed a minimum of 30 feet from the end of the arena and a 10-foot wing shall extend out from each side of the trailer. 9. Time ends when all three cattle are loaded, trailer gates are closed and latched and all three riders are on the ground with a hand on the front of the truck pulling the trailer or other designated stop point. 10. No horses are allowed in the trailer. Three cows loaded will always beat two Cows loaded and two cows loaded will Always beat one cow loaded.

End of Year Banquet
The MI-FQHR Appreciation and Awards Banquet is held at the Holiday Inn of Midland towards the beginning of every year. All awards from the previous year’s show season are handed out during this time, along with dinner and an annual membership meeting.
